This original film puts a human face on the illegal sterilization of minority Roma women in the Czech Republic. It follows Elena, her neighbor, cousin, and friend as they try to deal with their forced sterilization and collectively fight for their Roma rights. Their stories mirror countless victims in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, and Romania.
